You should have put this in Gen Chat mate, "Game Queries" refers to this actual game lol

"Chat about game development, including questions, suggestions or problems." As it says in the forum description, it is game-related (funkypool).

People look at this forum daily, so I'm sure you'll get some comments soon

Fishing Equipment and Bait

For many anglers, selecting, organizing and using fishing equipment is almost as fun and interesting as actually catching fish. The many types of bait and lures, the different fishing rigs and kinds of tackle, the various fishing rods and reels , it's a huge part of what makes fishing such a great pastime and hobby. Some anglers like to experiment with new fishing equipment. Others stick to their tried-and-true favorites. Whatever your approach, the equipment you use will play a big part in your success.

Natural Bait. Leeches, grubs, meal worms and more: there are a wide variety of bait types to lure fish. freshwater baits
Fishing Lures, Rigs and Tackle. If your bait isn't natural, it's a lure, and lures have some really great names: poppers, spinners, jigs, blades, plugs and spoons.
Fishing Rods. Whether you are spinning, bait-casting, surf or fly-fishing, there are many types of fishing rods that you should know about.
Fishing Reels. Are you a beginner or more advanced? Casting long distance? Using a light or a heavy lure? Matching the right reel to the right rod can help you become a better angler.

Good advice^...Get a E.A rod licence firstly!they do check up on lakes you will probs fish..
My nephew got caught and and fined,so its worth doing!
I take it your be fishing Commercial fisheries?..easy peasie!good place to start!
Rod & reel,landing net!few floats,mixed shot and hooks,barbless as most fisheries are!
6lb line should be enough to cope with on most fisheries, going for silver fish and small carp..
Size 10 barbless hook, float fished with a couple of red maggots or a 5 mm cube of spam?
Your local tackle shop will sort ya out and and give you better advise, their good like that!
Good luck,tight lines!
Post Catches here!Good Luck Joe!

I thought about fishing but decided on Chess instead, still learning to either bash the bishop or get right in there with the queen

I would give advice but obviously it depends were you fish.
River fishing is probably the hardest, You might be better off sticking to ponds to start with.
Best advice i can give is ask your local tackle shop owner for advice!

Alot of lakes dont allow you to use spam or other meats but they do tend to sell their own bait, i caught a 19Lb carp on just using hemp then 2 maggots!! patience is needed though

Fresh water fishing or sea fishing? both are different.Remember a licence is required for fresh water fishing.
