8 us could have gone either way, both played decent and only a few mistakes made, 9 us and 8 uk i prob should have took 1 more frame out of each, but saw the chances and went for them, should have stuck to my game plan, more fudgindg and less potting, and wait while the times right, however i didnt know wether another chance would arise, so went gung ho, it dint pay off, but i got the result

Sorry guys, was pretty bad display. I started off well with my clearance, but rattled a simple black for no real reason and it set the tone. Wasn't good enough and davy didnt need to be on top form to take most frames. He was the much better player, which the scoreline shows. But I missed most of the chances I got until 9-0 down and I got a tap in, in 9 ball. UK was better and I managed to put a bit of a stamp down but still wasn't as good as I needed to be to win this one. Good luck with the season davy! top player
