Morning everyone! How is everyone today?

Just played greenie1983, totally outplayed in every department, had a fair slice of bad luck but that doesn't excuse some poor shots.

First 2 frames were shared, then the bad luck curse hit me, snookered myself when on my last colour ball, he cleared.

Played a bad shot in the next frame and he cleared.

Just kept playing a bad positional shot, or didn't get out of a snooker, which is usually a strong point for me.

Last frame rocks up, and i suddenly remember how to pot balls again, saving the best shot for my penultimate shot, whipping the white around 3 cushions to put the white within 1cm of the black :P

5-2 overall to greenie, very good player and best of luck to him. ggs

Just played my second FBL match, against ang3l, and it has to be said, I've never in all my games on here, seen so much bad luck in a match.

The first 3 games, ang3l snookered herself on the final colour ball, giving me clear up each time.

In the 4th, she potted the black prematurely when it looked impossible that it would go in.

In the 5th I potted the black prematurely, in the 6th, I missed 2 chances on the black, and in the 7th, the balls never settled and in the end i got a half chance and cleared up.


I hope she has better luck for the rest of the season, as todays game was very very unlucky for her.

Just played davey_1985, what a great guy and very sporting, my boss rang me a couple of times and he allowed me a couple of breaks. then at the start of our 8uk, my laptop wouldnt let me take a shot, so i got a random time shot, and he said we could start again. Much respect to him, wish more people would be as sporting as this.

Anyways to the game, 8us and i was a little rusty, kept missing ones i would normally pot, got a bit of luck at times but ended 3-2 down.

In the 9us i got a huge chunk of luck in a couple of the frames, when i missed a shot that bad, it snookered him, and i cleared. he was very unlucky but made an amazing clearance in one of the frames. I won 3-2

Go into the 8uk with a bit of confidence, get a carry shot, clear up to my last ball with black over pocket, mess up a split and leave the white almost touching the colour ball, he clears his balls. After this my confidence went and i messed up 2 good chances in the next frame to clear up. 2-0 down.

I pull a frame back in the third, only to mess up again in the 4th and gift wrap it, by the 5th i tried, but he cleared up with some superb positional play.

Great games, scoreline is fair.

us8 ball 5-2 to me

Just finished playing slimeball, absolute class player and a top bloke.

9us was first, and he dominated it. was never given a chance and he did quite a few great clearances, even when i snookered, he got out with general ease. 5-0 to slime

8us was a bit tighter, was 2-2 and then i lost a scrappy 5th to go 3-2 down,

gets the the 8uk and my head has gone, missed 2 chances in the 2 frames for a 2-0 lead, but ended 2-0 down, got 1 back, then fluffed the 4th, and won the 5th. 3-2 to slime again.

final score is 11-4 to slimeball, could have been closer, but it could also have been worse!

great games and gl for the season mate.


sorry i couldnt do better team, really tried, but in the end his class showed.

Thanks Joey! You know I prefer to get them out of the way! I've tried to keep on too of the scoring also. Seemed like a quiet day for the ballbreakers, but some points at least :)
