I understand the time and effort went into all the changes but this table change has changed the game dramatically in my opinion. It's basically a slightly smaller version of 8 arcade and there are lots of people that dislike 8 arcade. There was nothing wrong with the old US tables, it had a good margin between the level of skill needed, with this table the bad player become decent, the good players become brilliant and the brilliant players become god's.

Personally I would like it to go back to the way it was before and created this to see you agree's with me and hopefully get it changed back. All opinions welcome :)

The silver rim has been removed from around the pockets which makes them look bigger now, all nick has done is move the edge of the corner pockets in a bit, the opening to the pockets is still the same width.

I dunno would swear they are bigger, it's a lot easier to pot now than what it was before.

Find one to compare it with, look on youtube, big silver rim has been removed, opening width is still the same, they just look bigger lol

Tables are growing on me, but no matter what anyone says it is slightly easier, i mean i havent even missed 1 long shot yet and i mean ive hit some real tough 1s, some angles are tougher tho near jaw can be a killer at times.

I say leave them how they are, the good players will still be able to play, and it will be easier for new members which im guessing is why he made a few changes to try n bring more people in.

Killer games take forever know tho, some stats should get reset but its not rly a must, its the same for everyone so its fair.

Might not be much bigger gap but imagine aiming for a target like a centimeter wide, it would be hard to hit it spot on, but imagine a target a lot bigger, it's easier to hit the center if you can see more of what your aiming at, by making the target bigger made it easier to pot. Just my theory anyways :)

And yeah I agree with Pete, I played a game of killer with 6 600 players and it took like an hour lol

I'm gonna give it a week before I have an opinion on this, but I was missing more than usual earlier. I think it's just the appearance of the pockets rather than their size that has changed.
I just have to readjust what we're aiming at.

Yh seb but u have got to admit that the pocs are slightly bigger, or its probably more of the jaw lengths are smaller, so in a way the poc is closer to you, and as the jaws are smaller u can't roll them in off the jaw anymore, you have to get it square on for some angles to avoid trouble, bottom left is my bogey poc if u like got caught out with some sitters there.

And my opinion is it is actually a touch harder, you can't roll the balls in off the jaw of the pocket any more, and if you are so much as a mm out the ball will just smack the jaw and fly away, where as it used to rattle and maybe drop.

That cannot be true: the pockets are bigger and the tables are bigger. To prove your point just make direct comparison superimposing one table over another with the same scale.
It is absolutely obvious to ppl who play here for a long time that the change made the game worse. And there is a saying: If it ain't broken don't fix it.

Been a couple of months and I was just wondering what peoples thoughts on the tables are now, I like them.

I think the people just don't like change and if they changed them back just as many people would complain.

I didn't see much difference really. Pool long shots has always been easier as you don't have to aim at the pocket directly as on Original Snooker (using an example) you have to be really precise as if you connect the cushion once you always miss whereas on Pool you can roll it down the rail.

I don't mind if its changed or not
