8US he played really well, runout too from a really nice break where he didnt even have to develop a ball to make it. I need to learn that one. I should have had a runout too but played a stupid shot onto the 8 ball so couldnt pot it and handed him the frame. Could have been 4-4 instead of 6-1 after US had I made it.
Then 9 ball I started ok and got the first two thanks to some bad luck for him snookering himself on a couple of tough positional shots. I then had a great runout chance, just lost position and went in off going for a tight cut to hand him the rack. Last one I had a massive fluke after he let me in, then when i could have gone on to win it the door went so i had to go and answer it so smacked the 2 hoping it would go safe and it didnt. Ended up 3-3 when it could have been 6-2.
8UK I kept missing and he is too good to mess up from an open table. He got to 2-0 which won them the match so I kinda gave up. Doubled the black for the 3rd frame and knocked his red in too to lose it, then took the 4th one after playing a horrible tap safety on him, I'm not proud at all.

He played really well, can only think of maybe 2 missed pots in the 12 frames from him, was only a bit of bad luck on position that meant he didn't win all 12. On the other hand, I was only fractions off winning it had it not been for one awful positional shot and a doorbell!

Well I just hit a 69 run so I can still play that one . It's all I play now though haha.
