would it be possible and favourable to change the rules in 8 ball uk so they were more like the actual uk rules?

These are proper UK rules thought, just a different set of rules that you are used to playing...

they aren't proper uk rules lol, they are a mixture of blackball and world rules and a foul on here is way too heavily punished.

Any league i have played in (real life) plays the carry rule...

yeah the carry rule is fine that is world rules, but the free shot as well as 2 carry is too much

Yeah i agree with this idea, the world rules are much better and would be perfect for this game.

well no not really cos when you give 2 shots away its a free table on your 1st visit to the table.. in real life you get the option to pick the white up and put it behind the bulk line. If you hit the wrong ball on here and give 2 shots away unless the white is potted you have to play it from where it stops, So if it was like you said then that could benefit the player who as made the foul.. (Confused smiley)

If you change the rules you gotta change the stats, as the stats would be from the old set of rules.

Just not worth it really.

up and down the country i've found many different pub rules, so just go by the home town rules, in this case funky is the home town, allow it as mich says wouldn't be worth it really anyway
