Not sure if its possible, but.... have an awaiting start button when invited for tourny, that automatically takes both opponents there when both press the button.

I no its daft playing ranked games like killer or straight while waiting for a tourny, but its so annoying forfeiting a game of killer that your probably going to win, to then go through by default by DQ....normally to a newbie and only gaining 0.2 points! What dya think? If I explained it clearly enough!?!

basically, so you dont have to leave a game that you're all ready playing to wait for your tourny opponent to turn up. If opponent doesnt show and you clicked u were ready, then you stay were u were playing your game, and still win by default.

I don't like it to be fair. If you join a normal game while knowing you are in a tournament and end up getting an invite then that is your own fault. (I have been guilty of doing this) It is all down to you when you lose the points, i have to say though i would never join killer knowing i could get an invite at any time, you get three minutes to show up anyway don't you? That usually gives me enough time to finish off a normal game and still take invite 90% of the time.

aye.....what jay said. am sure most of us DO do it, but it's just 1 of those risks you take, and, when it does come down to only gettin 0.2 after maybe losing 2 or 3 or more rank points, it's a sickener. SO DON'T DO IT!!!!

so do you basically mean have an extra notification letting you know that your opponent has entered the game room and is waiting for you? or do you mean have a button to click saying that youve acknowledged the game, but dont want to go in (leaving the game youre already in), incase your opponent doesnt show up, which would mean you left that game for nothing, but still win?



sounds good to me, but sounds like a lot of work. but i too have been guilty of joining (mainly micros) while waiting for a main tourny invite, and having to sacrifice some points

I think what he means is that he acknowledges the invite and if the opposing player has not either entered the room or acknowledged themselves by deadline then he can continue playing in his current game and accept the BYE due to other players no show. If the other player has entered the room (he is whisked off) or acknowledged the invite both players are whisked off to the tourney room directy.

Good idea but would be a pain for others as they may then say i was on my final shot on current game to win and lost points there and then went on to lose in tournament.

It is common knowledge that i no longer have a job... again i have a kid and i am currently in the process or renewing my security license. I don't have the time to spend 24/7 on here and if you keep making up stupid posts relating to me and about work then ill just report you.
