Taking nothing away from my opponent as he played brilliantly, but what a poor format for this cup. Before I could even get a proper chance, I was 4 nil down - at least in other formats I'd get a chance too redeem myself. Not implying that he was lucky in any way as he completely deserved to beat me, but this relies too much on who gets the break and how they work out, which is 90% luck. Could at least play 2 of each so both players get a fair chance of breaking - especially with games like 9ARC where whomever gets the break pretty much wins

Anyway, rant over. Sorry guys

It does appear that the new pockets have made it much less likely to double pot. Everyone is making 30+'s now.

I fear for Seb's 200+, doubt it will last long now!

I find its easier to double pot now, and easier to pot, if splits are kind to ya then you could go on forever i feel, i got 1 bad split and had to smash into the pack other than that it was plain sailing

Good games bud. Lag was affecting us both I think but it killed me in 8 US and most 9 ball. Went 5 - 2 down and was thinking the worst but fortunately it cleared up enough to finish the match off at the standard I feel I should play. Im_bad took his chances well at the start but to my surprise went off the boil in 8 UK. As I say 5 - 2 down i'll take the score. Best of luck for the future Im_bad.

The scores say it all really- even game throughout. Nobody plays me tougher on this site than scott.
I got a bit unfortunate in the 9-Ball FCL games, where I got snookered from 2 or 3 promising splits. But scores couldve gone either way.

Only got to make up a 14 frame deficit in the last two games....easy
