What's the best way to split the divisions for the first season? Either i nominate myself to start in the bottom division and draw names from a hat, or i go by peoples rankings on the day i start the event. Does anyone have a better idea?

no its_me its a league format, 3 divisions of 6 players. more divisions if there is more names. when its just active and reliable players i might increase the number of players per division.

ok guys here is the names i have so far (in order of ranking). Rankings will be checked again on sunday before i start the event and divisions finalised:

its_me, erigert,
derik_dalton,standard, cgibson92, greenie1983, sarny_lad, faust, bluenose1872, irish_ninja, mich, davey_1985, red4eva, sioned1, blueberry, liam_scfc, cke1982, foxy147

(sorry foxy, please try get your ranking up by sunday if you can haha). If anyone wishes to be removed just let me know. We now have 18 players so i will start with 3 divisions of 6 unless i get more names by sunday.

i'm expecting quite a few unplayed games in the first season, but the first season is mainly for weening out the inactives.
