Frame 2

Kirk breaks, pots but then fouls, Mat comes to the table with a chance but misses. Kirk is in with a clear and takes it beautifully and doubles his lead in 8 US!

Frame 3

Longer game but good to watch. Kirk makes a solid clearance but falls short on his last ball. With tactical play Mat throws a couple of snookers in. But, luckily for Kirk his last ball is in the pocket so he manages to moves Mat's towards it. When mat slips up, he's in for a simple tap in and a straight black to top left. 3-0 Ritson

Frame 4

Tight frame here. Mat manages to clear but gets stuck on his last ball as it is tied up amongst 4 of Kirk's. Kirk manages to pick his balls off one by one and take the lead to 4-0

Frame 5

Most balls were situated at the top left pocket so it was a tough task for both opponents to free them out and make some sort of clearance. Mat manages to free them out but gets stuck a couple of pots in. Kirk starts to clear but misses an angled orange to the top left and Mat swoops in to take his 1st frame of the match. 8 US finishes 4-1. 9 Ball next

Frame 6

Bad luck off Kirk as he fouls white going for a clear. Mat pots a couple then taps in the 5-9 combo to start his comeback. 1-0 in 9 Ball

Frame 7

Mat fouls on the 3 ball after a great pot but white slamming into the top middle. Kirk clears like a pro and equalises.

Frame 8

Fluked 1-9 combo by Mat but he did apologise...looked good too He regains his lead, 2-1

Frame 9

Kirk calls the 2-9 combo before he pots it, luckily too as it spun around the jaws of the top middle pocket before dropping into the bottom. 2-2 and 1-1 on flukes

Frame 10

Well played Ritson, tidy clearance by the plastic Geordie and he clinches 9 ball 3-2 and gives himself a tasty 7-3 lead overall

Frame 11

Kirk breaks and pots 2 reds and a yellow. Yellow looks favourites so he sets about his business. 3 yellow left and he manages to snooker himself on 2 and leave no shot on the 3rd. He goes for the spectacular and unluckily pots the white. It's easy for Mat from there. 1-0 Mat

Frame 12

Again Kirk goes for the clearance after not the greatest of breaks from Mat. He gets stuck on 2 balls this time, 1 red being enclosed by 6 yellows. Mat returns to the table and starts to clear only to be hit by the curse of the underhit. His yellow hangs over the pocket and after 3 tap-ins Kirk has equalised.

Frame 13

Kirk goes for another runout but fouls again!! Mat needs the carry but manages to claim the frame and take his lead again. 2-1

Frame 14

Mat breaks and leaves black hanging over the top middle pocket. After some technical play Kirk gets in with a tough chance of a clear. He snatches it with both hands and pulls himself back level. 2-2 and 9-5 overall

Frame 15

Mat goes for a chance of a 7 balling but falls 2 balls short. Unfortunately it is left open for the 2nd best UK player on Funky and he takes it with ease. 3-2 to Kirk in UK and 10-5 overall...all he needs now is to get a job

Cheers for the commentary jim lol. Not really my best games as i was very rusty but just about managed to hold my own. Mat was unlucky in some and i wish i could say i played startling. Nice guy and decent player on his day, good luck for the remainder of the season. P.S. get a job!!!!!!!
