today is my 26th birthday, im not going out and getting drunk or even going for a meal. i live apart from my wife and kids cause of a few complications.

now all i want today is to spend my birthday with my kids i dont want cards i dont want presents i dont even want a million and one fake facebook happy birthdays..


so as is the way in most marriages enter the mother in law

she hates my guts, i dont care i think she is an obnoxious self uptight pig!! but after three weeks of not seeing her grand kids she decides today she wants to see them!! of all days!!!.


my wife does not know what to do....... she doesnt want me to miss out and wants me there but doesnt need her mum poking her nose where it is not required.


and please no comments regarding well the mother shouold let oyu see the kids, unless you know the situation you wont understand and its far from her not letting me!!!!!

Happy Birthday mate, i am in the same boat as you kind of but i don't and have not seen my daughter in about 6 months now

Mums are always going to poke their noses in though, think your wife should be letting you see the kids. Gran can see them when ever she likes but it is your day and you want to spend it with the kids.
