Well at the minute the winner gets 70% of the tournaments tournapoints.
Runner up gets 20% I think
and the 2 losing semi finalists 5% each.

ok sparks nice ideas iv said to nic as a previouse player about the doubles and nouts happined but
as for points i think in games rooms should be .5 per ball left on the table of youre apponents
and in tourny should be 1 pont per ball of apponents left on table
and a foul on black by ur apponent would cost them full 8 points
in a tourny and 4 points in games room
as i think this would seriously make every shot count for both players and make mistakes not an opption

LOL, bit harsh to lose 8 points for a foul on the black, usually you foul black because of attacking play, we need to encourage that not prevent it!

Oh and gb's should be nulled and it should just be a re-rack because we all know it makes sense

the more balls u pot b4 the black the more points u get as this would increase both accuracy of players and speed of games
thus cutting out friendlies as not needed anyway as newbies can join main tournies now

As the number of players increase, the number of micro tournaments increases to balance the typical ratio?
Would make sense to me anyway.

A round multiplier?
What I mean is...
Say a tournament has 5 rounds...
( round 1 - round 2 - quarter-final - semi-final - final )
The tournament points are multiplied by 5.
3 rounds... multiply the tournament points by 3, etc.
(for main tournaments, not micros)

The multiplier isn't really needed as the more rounds per tournament means there are more entrants, and the more entrants there are means more tournapoints for grabs anyway.
