Morning Guys.

I think you should all read the rules for The Clan League, however we can't force you to do so. So I will pull up the rules y'all need to know and the rest are really for captains etc.

Each game consists of exactly 4 frames of each game type:

4 frames of 8 Ball US
4 frames of 9 Ball US
4 frames of 8 Ball UK


4.1 Scoring points
Each frame won by a player scores a point for their clan in the appropriate fixture. In addition one point is scored for each recorded 'event'. An 'event' is counted as a Golden Break or a Run Out.

4.2 Bonus points
Each player that wins an individual game type within their match earns two Bonus points for their clan. In the event of a drawn game type each player earns one Bonus point for their clan.

5.5 Required approval
Substitutions are not subject to approval by anyone.

5.6 The making of subs
Captains / Managers may manage substitutions for their clan however they see fit. However anyone in the clan can make a substitution, and once made will be deemed as a substitution made on behalf of, and with the full agreement of, the clan. A substitution is considered official from the moment it has been posted in the forum.

5.7 Substituted players' eligibility
A player who has been substituted is eligible to be substituted back in to play in any other game of that fixture. A player may only play once in any given fixture.

All subs MUST be posted.

9.1 League season
All clans will compete in one league playing all of the other clans at least once. The Clan finishing in 1st position at the end of the season will be League Winners.

9.2 Play-Offs
At the end of the league season there will be a Play-Off competition to decide the The Clan League Champions as
follows:-

Week 1

The Semi-Finals.

These matches involve the clans who finish in the top four. They are:

1st v 4th
and
2nd v 3rd

The winners of these two games will progress directly to Week 2 and the losers will be eliminated.

Week 2

The Clan League Final

9.3 Game format
All games in the Play-Off stage will be played to exactly the same format as those during the league season - see Section 3

9.4 Drawn Games
Where a Play-Off game finishes level on points after all eight individual games have been completed, each team will nominate five players to take part in a sudden death 'tie-breaker'. In the 'tie-breaker' there will be five games drawn at random from the nominated players.

These games will consist of one rack each of US8, US9 and UK8. Three racks in each of the five games and therefore fifteen racks in total. The games may be played in any order, however in the event of any dispute between players over the order then it must revert back to 1) US8 2) US9 3) UK8.

Other than what has been posted, and the small fact that there is no account age limit to play in this league, there are no real differences.

All default info is the same really and it looks a good league.

Well done to The Clan League staff for putting this together and let us see how it goes.
