Got off to a good start but steve came bk with some good play to level it in 8us at 1-1, last game of 8us was close he tactically potted 1 of my balls, with his over the pocket n I had 2 balls on the cushion either side of it, I had 4 balls left n dropped onto the 3rd ball remaining with a nice angle to drop in between those balls just without potting his ball which landed on the first ball too perfect tbh it was a long ball too far pocket n it was nearly straight but was hard to get on the other ball I tried to cannon it delicately but landed touching ball, but It wasn't too far away from going in so I put as little cue ball in as I could on the far left n hit it hard, it potted but I landed on the black facing his pocket with his ball right in the mouth so I had a tough double to the bottom corner, under pressure but it went in to my delight

Steve asked for 30 secs n I agreed, n glad I did now after that double, after all that we had a bit of a break as steve needed to do summit, 9 us flew by pretty quick which steve won 2-1 and playing well, 8uk was much of the same so good play and it came down to the last frame and it was very tense but I managed to grab the frame and the win

one frame lasted 17 minutes as we was trying to foul each other 3 times, he was good at laying them, i was good at escaping, in the end the colours fluked in.
