I'm in favor for all they seem legit :D

If the league is voted to be changed to Premier League style scoring then there is also the option of keeping the frame scoring system as a table to and making it as some sort of Team Golden Cue, winners of that would be classed on total amount of frames as it is being done just now. This also gives teams another chance to win a title so to speak in this event and makes for a more competitive event.

This is only an option if the Premier League style scoring is brought into affect straight away though. If you would like to see this done then please put your name on the list below, can i ask that you do not quote eachother over and over as people end up missing people off it and it looks like a mess to be fair.

I don't mind particularly on the scoring system, but if theres a team golden cue shouldn't it be frame difference not frames for.

So that teams who get outright win's would be placed above teams that win a tie-breaker and get to 4 frames scored but have lost an extra frame

Would be frames for as that would prove what team scored the most frames and what not.

I still need people to ad their names to the voting posts.

it wouldn't prove who won the highest % of frames though.
e.g. player A wins 8 games 4-2, player B takes 7 games to a draw and wins all the tiebreak's and wins the last game 5-1.

Player B would have 33 frames for, 22 against (60%)
Player A would have 32 frames for, 16 against (66.6%)
If there was no tie break it would be fine, but it means players can scrape an extra frame and not have it go against them, surely winning 4-2 is better than 4-3?

Am I really the only one who sees it?, that points for matches instead of frames greatly increases the luck factor!

We all agree that the longer the match, the less luck can affect the outcome, right? So Im gonna make an example with more frames.

Imagine 10 frame matches, (players or teams makes no difference to my point)

Player A wins all 10 matches, 6-4
points for matches gives him 30 points
points for frames gives him 60

Player B wins 9 matches, 10- 0, and loses the one 4-6
points for matches gives him 27 points
points for frames gives him 94

How could anyone honestly think Player A deserves it, just because his measly 60 frames were lucky enough to fit neatly into 10 match wins.

Yes it works either way, but who do you want to get the title, the luckiest, or the best?

If it was based on frames then there should be no win/loss/draw on the table as it renders it obsolete

I suggested dropping the tie break, or going by frame difference (percentage) instead, but I was outnumbered then aswell

That I agree on as it is slightly different to the point about actually winning GAMES not FRAMES. So I'm all for Zak's idea with that
