Been waiting too flipping long to re-do this!

We all welcome you here to The Sett where it's Badger2 vs Ian99. Dunno what the numbers are for, think it's some sort of ranking system It is a friendly between The Chips n Gravy Massive and Dark Destroyers whom want everyone to "Be Destroyed". This may be a friendly but they'll be going at it like badgers.

8 US we start with let's see how it goes...Come on Will!!

Frame 1

Ian takes an unexpected lead in 8 US, to which I missed as I was typing up the intro...Some commentator I am All I say is he potted black first 1-0 to Ian but a long way to go

Frame 2

Will makes a great clearance only to leave a black with no pocket free, so he taps it loose from Ian's touching balls leaving him a difficult clearance. Ian underhits his 3rd to last ball but leaving black in a difficult spot. Will tries the quadruple and nearly pulls it off but it doesn't pot. Ian goes to clear, misses a simple blue and Will takes the glory. 1-1 Game on

Frame 3

Boom! Will takes a 2-1 lead leaving Ian on 4 balls. Smart clearance by the Gravy lover too and smashing in a difficult black to the top left. Nice stuff matey

Frame 4

After being rudely interrupted by liam__scfc, Will takes a 3-1 lead! He leaves a spot over the pocket trapping Ian's stripe. Ian goes off on a mad potting spree not thinking about the final ball. He under hits the white leaving an easy clearance for Will to snap up.

Frame 5

Ian goes for the clear and traps himself behind two of his own balls. He tries to free them but underhits and fouls. Will goes for the clearance and rattles a tight top left stripe, luckily it stays in the pocket and covers a spot. Ian rattles his next shot, leaving Will to pot the stipe with backspin to leave white on a top mid black between 2 spots. Lovely stuff. 4-1 and 9 ball to come

Frame 6

This is where it goes quickly lol. Steady cue from Will and he clears very nicely to make it 5-1. A great shot on a bottom mid 6 moves his 7 and 8 ball over the pockets, after potting them he then pots a tight cut on the 9 to the bottom left. Textbook stuff Will

Frame 7

A nice cannon shot on the 2 breaks it open for Will. With 3 n 4 already being down he pots the 5, cuts in the 6 but moves the 8 over the 9. After knocking the 7 into the top mid he then plays a difficult plant onto the 8 for the 9.....Naturally he pots it and takes the frame 6-1

Frame 8

De ja vu. Will hits another great clearance and takes the lead to 7-1 and 3-0 in 9 Ball. Every shot was symmetrical. One to the bottom left then one to the top right, did it all the way till 9 lol.

Frame 9

Will goes for the clear but leaves a tough double on 6. Ian pots the 6 but misses a straight 7 to the top left. From then on it's basic stuff and Will clears to make it 8-1. We have the win, now we need to target that 100 overall points

Frame 10

Ian pots a tough double on the 7 to the top middle, the he tries to cross double black into the bottom left, it was a great effort but didn't come off. Will cuts the 8 into the bottom left leaving perfect pos to tap the 9 in. 9-1 UK next

Frame 11

Welcome to UK, easily the best game type on the site. It's a good job Will has been watching me play, a very smart clearance by the man to take him 10-1 up! Ian goes for a good clear but misses a tight yellow to the bottom middle bag. Will rolls them in until the penultimate red. Hard backspin brings the white back down to the bottom right and leaves on a tight red for an easy black. Well executed my mate

Frame 12

Nice safety work by Will puts pressure on Ian to clear. His only option to pot black is the tightest cross treble known to man. Unfortunately it doesnt come off and Will clears his 5 balls and takes the frame. 11-1

Frame Can't Remember

Nice clearance by Ian but misses an easy black to the bottom mid. Will with one yellow left manages to hit a long pot to the bottom middle from the top right, leaving sweet pos on black for a tap in. 12-1 now

Frame 14

Will snookers himself but gets out of it. Ian pots a tight yellow to bottom middle but doesnt have enough backspin on to leave the next one on which is under black. Will pots a long red with pace and the white ball bounces around the pocket, luckily it comes back and leaves the clear on. Had me going a bit though 13-1

Frame 15

Ian wins with a carry. Will realises his Chips are burning in the oven and rushes off to retrieve them! Unfortunately he pots white and Ian clears up with the carry.
Bless the man, eating Chips n Gravy for a Chips n Gravy clan match. Take notes people!!! I want commitment like this every week!!!
