I hardly play now but i would play this possibly.

Don't agree with how the partners will be decided though as you could get partnered with a player you don't like. Would it not be easier to say right here is the players in the event (list them out) and then give a short deadline or something so they can ask a player to be their partner.

I would join if someone wanted to partner with me but like i said don't agree with the basically random partner thing.

thats the risk though, its not like your playing scotch doubles, its no fun if everyone asks someone because they are ranked first. I mean i could ask onua because hes the top ranked player just loses the concept a bit

Risk? The risk would be on the event itself though as if two players are partnered and don't like each other they will more than likely not play a game at all.
