Hi, I arranged mid week with redalert124 to play our match yesterday teatime but he did not log on so the match remains unplayed. As we had agreed a day and time and he didn't show, is it a walkover win to us?

Fair enough, I like the two points extra for a win. I don't see the point in an extra point for the game being played.

Extra points for run outs and gb's are ridiculous. Why is a win of those better than any other win?

How is it fair enough?

After a break there isn't always a finish on and a tactical battle is the only way forward. If a player beats me tactically then I am usually more impressed than a player beating me in a run out. It seems to unfairly rate a run out better than a tactical battle played perfectly. A win is a win, no matter.

im very aware of a tactical game lol... but a runout is still as good

My point was why is a run out worthy an extra point. A win is a win. It doesn't make sense. The only positive side I can think of is encouraging a more attacking style.

Playing well today, been in control for most of the match, got a bit unlucky in 8us where i timed out after trying to hit the cueball a few times with an easy clear on, made up 4 it in 9us tho and have only lost 1 frame in the last 6.

He has to go to play a clan match on snooker so we will resume later if im about.
