This is a result page and i don't care about a mod posting here remove it from this thread immediately please.

The discussion relates to here as it began here after a simple result, and nothing else, was posted on the Results Thread. A result that could have been posted by absolutely anybody.

Sometimes common sense has to transcend everything else. dgen, your previous post already highlighted the difference I was pointing out in that you posted to convey the thoughts of another user who was unable to post themself. That is 'posting on behalf of a banned user'.

Unless anyone wants to start a brand new thread on this specific subject in another part of the forum then that should be it.

Again this is a result page for results not a discussion Chris so kindly move away from this thread and post it on discussion if you must. I asked nicely all i expect is that this thread is used for results and results only like previously stated.

Posting on behalf of those who have had their posting rights revoked is not allowed.

And,

Posting FCL results on the FCL Result Thread, the thread for FCL results, is allowed. It is the purpose of this thread.

Now, obviously, if the person who played has had their posting rights removed and is unable to post for themselves, that leaves us in a situation wherein anyone, anyone at all, posting that player's result(s) risks breaking the rule I mentioned at the start. This would be wrong. After all, a result is a result, a public fact. Anyone can see it from a player's results page. I think this issue came up before somewhere, but I couldn't tell you where.

There's more that can be said to individuals on both sides of this argument. Message me in private if you like...
