On thread bickering is getting ridiculous at the moment. Think a few people need to not post for a while.

never works mate, people are alike that they need to have the last word in an argument and due to that it never stops.

thread caps like on Snooker could work where they cap thread for a few hours but on pool it only a temporary condition.

On the new rule I don't see why two clans cant just play each other. Make as many swaps/ subs as you like from minute one.

If you lose cause a captain made certain swaps or subs then it is good captaining. You play an entire clan when you pick your team.

I for one dont care who I play as long ad I can get the game done. If people want to pick and choose who they play then let them take the false reality of themselves and have a self fondle. Anything to help get the game done is a positive. Unlimited swaps subs does this. People should just get over the issue and play the game they have.

I see you're point m8, but if people can just choose who they want to play at the start of the fixture then we may as well scrap the random draw altogether cause it would be a complete waste of time.

I'm the same as you, I don't care who I play as long as the game gets done, the harder the challenge the better, but there seems to be quite a few people that like picking opponents who they think they will beat, no one wants to let the team down but you only improve by playing better players.

Has anyone read the rule like in full? Both captains HAVE to agree on it before that sub or swap can even be made, basically if you think the other captain is trying to make his players have easier games or have equal chance against a bigger player then you can say no and they can not do anything about it.

John i think the same as you with your first sentence but you ain't witnessed the hours of rubbish that goes on when a game is changed or a swap is done. This is only a trial though like i mentioned.

But if a player picks who they think they can beat, you assume that player would be one of the better players in the team. Therfor they expose one of their less capable players to someone who the first player thought they couldn't beat. This balances out anf any captain who choses to do this is stupid. If they want to be stupid let them. If im playing a clan game im only interested in the clan winning. If I was to play the best player on the site and I required one frame for the clan to win then if I lost 14-1, the team wins.

I really dont see an issue with people swapping all over the joint when fixtures are released. Why not tell your team offline to not play any games till all the swaps are made after day 5???

The only way this can be stopped or abused is to say that you can make as many swaps or subs as you like. Games will get done more and the default info would be the same.

If this becomes known as completely allowable to all clan members, when a team does it and someone wants a moan then tough......its allowed. Stop moanjng and llay whk you get. If your not happy get your captain to swap.

The random draw is there for a reason tho. If people are allowed to choose there opponents it would need to be scrapped because it makes it completely irrelevant.

Why does it have to be random. Besides the only way you could make the randomness worthwhile you would have to limit the subs or swaps back to two per fixture. As I say a captain can make the same changes under this rule at day 5 as I suggest they be allowed immediately. The only difference is d3faults being more likely.
