For your information, we rate derik_dalton as one of our best players, hence getting selected in front of me and spin_doctor in the original fixture. The fact that you've failed to get the game played with only 2 days left to get it done, proves that we're doing the right thing trying to get one of us to sub in. We as a clan hate defaults, and have only been screwed by the system so far. Just because you're intimidated by spin_doctor, don't for one minute think we're trying to tactically sub, or take advantage of the default system.

By the way, why is it my fault the game isn't played.. neither of the two players in question have tried 'really hard' to get it played, i would just like to see the guy get a chance at playing.
Thats abit sad really, playing for a default like that, i just think its wrong that he hasnt really had chance to play and your edging for a sub now.. give the guy chance man, he has another 2 days, on deadline day there will be plenty of chances for subs.. very sad to think the leagues and clans has come to this, where people edge to try and win defaults this early. (3 days to go on a 5 - 7 day deadline)

mooksterman then why use this particular instance to air your 'general' views on defaults? At the end of the day if you've been stung in the past then as you've said you'll know why I posted and saved the information I did. So I don't see what purpose your original post served if I'm honest.

But you can refuse to play the fixture at a particular time (which you did). I'm not going to be online for the rest of the weekend, hence asking to play earlier; so no point 'officially' subbing myself into a game I can only play at a particular time is there....

I hardly refused to play the game! i just said no to your offer to sub in, i cannot stop you from making a sub, which you can't without your captain anyway, but if you were subbed in by your captain, then by all means, what can i really do?!?

Incorrect. As a Vice I could have officially subbed myself in and forced the fixture to happen. But I'd never be that unreasonable, I'll always check with the opponent in questionto see if they were available to play the fixture before officially subbing in. I asked, you said "i'm good thanks" so I saved the evidence and posted on the forum thread. (OUR forum thread btw).

5.5 Required approval
Substitutions are not subject to approval by anyone.
5.7 The making of subs
Anyone in the clan can make a substitution, and once made will be deemed as a substitution made on behalf of, and with the full agreement of, the clan.
This shouldn't have been an issue really, if a sub was made the opposing player couldn't refuse to play, well they could but it doesn't look good
