I am happy to start anytime - but I think its been shown that the best chance of keeping clans together is running competitions side by side. Those starting later suffer from growing clan unreliability.

Completely right. But what is this extra 2 weeks for?
Is there a separate schedule for FBL? If the FBL friendlies start October 1st, that would clear up the confusion (because we want it running alternately).

Not sure but I thought it was to do with the FBL finish time but I thought it finished a while ago now?

We played the last game of our final 10 days ago. Now an extra 2 weeks on top of that. 1 week would be enough.

James you were also part of the discussion when i posted the schedules as was many people and everyone was fine with the wait to make sure everything was done right and not missed but now you are all having a go because you need to wait. Only the teams that are full are moaning about it not starting yet, i am going by the schedules though and not changing any dates cause i have far to much work do to for both leagues!
FCL is one week ahead of the FBL like last season as FBL is usually the longer league but i am still thinking over the FCL one big division which would possibly have them finish around the same time.

not moaning jay its called having an opinion which i think we are all entitled too, just because i think league should start early doesn't mean i agree or disagree with the wait. i don't mind waiting but i was posting from another eye as some users may be impatient.

Each player plays every other player in one 'home' and one 'away' match. Matches are 6 frames (3 if Straight)- the game type and the time limit are decided by the 'home' player.
For example:
I play my home game against dgeneratio and choose 5 second 8UK- we play the frames and finish 2-2. Then dgen chooses the format for his home game against me: Straight. We play and tie 1-1 (each frame counts for 2 points).
Game types to choose from:
8Arc, 8US, 8UK, 9US, Straight
Time Limits you can choose from 5-20 seconds for quickfire action

Impatient or not i really don't care, i did my best to make sure everyone knew how long the break would be and now i see a few moaning even when they were part of the discussion in the first place. This longer break has helped also as there is more new teams which is a good thing.
If you wanted the leagues to start early then everything would be an utter mess as that would be cramming loads of work into a week or two and i don't have the time to sit on the laptop for 5+ hours in a day to make sure i can get that all done. Transfer ends in three days, there is some admin work to be done after that because i will need lists for pre season and they will be released on the nearest Sunday.
