Couple of quick questions...
1) Is every game 12 racks no matter what? Or is it like Premier League Darts where in effect its first to score 7 (in this case) and therefore never a need to play dead racks?
2) If its the latter how do you decide the order of game types? 'Home' player chooses the order for all 12 (ie 4US8 then 4US9 then 4UK) or 'Home' player chooses the general order (ie 2US8 then 2US9 then 2UK) then its reversed to ensure there's no chance of a match being won without playing all game types?

To be honest Chris i was just going to say play all 12 racks.
Having you said the above though i may actually change it to what you said, ill decide over today if i will change it . If changed then it would be most likely that home team would choose the order first and it could be what ever the two examples you gave

I think all 12 should be played.. if its a league like the premier league then it needs "frames for, frames against and frames difference" in the case of a tie on points.

I do suppose it could be done like that anyway as you need 6 frames each to draw so if someone did get the seven first then it would make sense to just leave the rest of the games. Frames are not going to be counted anyway on the table, unless people wanted to have a most "goals" winner.
At the moment Chris their is going to be three games in a week. If you would still like to join after knowing that then please post again.

It would get that anyway - scores can be anything between 7-0 and 6-6. Cant see the point in playing any dead racks personally.
3 games a week then I definitely wouldnt want 12 every time no matter what

My Questions:
1) What happens at the end of a season (to first place etc.) and also to the bottom 3.. is there a relegation where they cannot play for a season to allow new members to take their places? or is it just new members take places when old members drop out?
2) Is it straight league or is there a play-off for the title at the end of the season?
Thank you.

It is just a simple league just now mate, if it is successful then knew things will be implemented into it . New members can take places on any team if someone drops out even if it is half way through.

should implement the championship teams if this is good and have relegation or promotion

If there is going to be no frame difference, then i agree that once 7 is achieved, there is no need to play on.
But what are you planning to do in the event of a tie-break on points at the end of the season?

As stated CKE, if this is successful then new things will be implemented. Such as frame difference and all that jazz.
If their is a tie break on points at the end of the season then those teams (only two teams can possibly tie - i think) then they would be scheduled to play each other one last time to determine a winner.

Sounds good enough to me, i would prefer not to have to play dead racks in exchange for a play-off between tie-breaks in #1 and 2 in the unlikely event the top two teams draw on points.

I think i am going to go with what Chris suggested. If you get to seven then no need to play the dead racks as it would be pointless. Website is still under construction so i am open to ideas like that one.
Very nice turn out just now to

Still unlikely they would draw on frame difference over 38 games though based on scores from 6-6 to 7-0 per game.
