I've been at the top of the rankings in most things and anyone that knows me knows I rarely play safe if I feel I can clear I do so from Anywhere even if I need to make shots and splits.

I played on my crap laptop as my good one has packed up again. I dont feel I played my best but still managed to get 3 runouts (1 in each type) haha no idea how

He is a top guy very easy to arrange the game with and is a good player who probs could have beat me on another day.

Still one FCL friendly to play by whoever fancies it against a professional, they have signed cphaynes and davybaumers up now as well as those on the list

depends on the scenario for me, in a normal game i would indeed attack and try and clear but in a clan game i try a mix of offense and defense for example in 9 ball if i don't see a pot i would try to play a snooker to gain the upper hand, in UK i try to be more attacking but im not great at clearing from start so that bites me in the butt, in the US games i try and be attacking but if i can't see an easy clear then i try and make it tough for opponent.

i agree with you on the fact too many people are afraid to clear so they tap until opponent pots first

Is harder playing attacking but I changed from tactical to attacking a few months ago and it's so much better. Might lose a lot that I should win by missing the position on clears by mms or getting bad splits but you aren't going to perfect clears by playing tactically all the time...only way to beat the very best players too really.

After all you don't wanna end up like some 'top players' who have been playing tactically that long they can't even clear when they do get 2 shots

I played u a few months back and u was very defensive, I played u a month go and if not for a bit of bad luck you would of beat me playin very attacking its good to see mate its better for your game :-)

Cheers mate, does get frustrating sometimes giving people easy clears when it goes wrong and the amount of runouts I am missing by the smallest margin on position especially on the black in UK but sticking at it....lot more fun potting than tapping after all

Clear or Bust Angries UK League

Another spicy comp to run through the season along with the Angriest

League format ideally want 8 or more players but can be done with less.
Game Format
1) Friendly games
2)1 game each per week 10 frames of UK, games can run over if needs be but new fixtures will still be released each week so you will have to catch up
Scoring
Frame won = 2pts
5 balling or 6 balling = 1 pt bonus
7 balling = 2 pt bonus
Run the rack = 3 pt bonus

So roll up, roll up...actually don't roll up cos you won't get the big points that way
