Defaults are not about clan representation, it is about getting the fairest group of people together to predict an outcome. Now neither the SS or The Professionals members will comment on their own defaults but I would trust all 4 of them to be fair and unbiased anyway.

I doubt highly, but I could be proved wrong, that SS and Professionals will get any defaults as they are extremely reliable teams.

As James is head of defaults, it is entirely his decision how it is run and who is included, so I suggest you let him get on with it and if there are defaults for SS vs TP games then I am sure others will be called upon to help decide it.

its a shame the FBL dosnt take the same approach as the FBL, as in fair representation

Defaults have nothing to do with clan representation.

You cannot comment on your own defaults anyway so you cannot even represent your clan.

I think James has done it the right way by leaving it to League Runners.

so example

snooker squad v professionls you need 2 panelists to do a default,

And if you read my original post then you will see that in the unlikely event of a Snooker Squad vs The Professionals default someone else will more than likely be called upon to assist me in the prediction.

Obviously depends on the content and context of the pictures, they're not gonna give out warnings for people having a sense of humour jeez

Defaults aren't about teams, as long as we have fair people who have the time and the willingness to go through information properly then who cares what team they are from.

On a serious note we managed to be in unbiased last year and I'm sure we will manage again this season.

I know for certain I am unbiased as I was more than happy to predict against my clan last season, although my predictions were not counted, I still added my input, like women do

On another note, I have uploaded the FBL games to the website for people to see and will post on clan threads shortly, I have a wee baby due his breakfast soon.... and then I got to make Riley's hehe

It disintegrated not last season but season before when Jay let me run defaults, i find theres less arguing if its just down to the league runners as last season only complaints we had was why did my team get 0? the answer is no information was sent in, the system implemented last season was no info = 0 points.

I also run the snooker defaults with Seb and we discuss who to take but didn't want more than 2 people from a clan. Over there we comment even on our own teams default and if it gets heated which is rare then we don't include those predictions. As you say that would only leave Jema to comment, the answer would be to find a replacement like i did last season with onevisit when people was slow at predicting.

So in essence i will stick to 5 and if things are slow then i will look for 1 or 2 more.

I am going to apply the same logic here in FBL as none of the league runners are biased even at the expense of their own team.

Also new to the season, if you have 3 defaults at fault then you will miss the next fixture. Decided Cup and Killer Games won't be included in those.

That decision will not change until i am removed by the person in charge

Do think you should give people more time to get info in.
The captain has to message their player to get the default info, giving only 2 or 3 days for this is a bit unfair.
If the player isn't online for those couple of days then they get no points when they could have deserved all of them.

I could but the Cup games are tied together this season, if cup was separated like in my schedule then i would be for raising it to 4 or 5 days. The problem now is for the Cup they are due to be released on the same day as the previous cup finishes so would be really hard to release on time with exception of Cup Final of course.

If its just for the league/Cup Semis and Final then sure i can raise it, would only be Cup Quarter Finals which would be shortened unless you can think of a way to include that too.
