I have no issues with the rules, but i believe my 11 successful defences trumps your 10 mister! Done in late 2009 bare in mind
I still hold the record in this as far as i'm aware. 10 successful defence's
Basic rules were:
Challenge's are active for 24 hours, if not play the king (or queen) retain's the title but it is not counted as a defence. If the Challenger is online at the deadline without any sign of the Title holder then they become King/Queen. If no sign of either player then the first person to post at the deadline declaring themselves king becomes king
Race to 2 in the challengers choice of 8uk, 8us or 9 ball.
Cannot challenge a king who has already beaten you.
Cannot challenge while there is already a challenge active
Don't know if Sam want's to change any of these...
I'll be keeping an eye on this

correct, if ninja doesnt play by midnight, then he has had 24 hours, and straight will become king.

Before this gets out of control, back when this was popular, it was only until after a challenge had been completed that another could be made... This is so you dont get a backlog of players lining up challenges, players jumping queue etc... Think it would be easier this way?

yep, otherwise its too much back tracking and too much ammunition for future arguments....think we need to re-establish rules for how and when we default the king. This was designed to be fast moving, tbh i think it would be mint if 1 day we could get the interest high enough to be 1 hour to accept a challenge, then youd pretty much have only that day to set your run. Would also stop large levels of inactivity, cause you either play, or some1 else will 'claim the throne'
