I think it would be a good idea if you could have an app for apple, android and all other platforms if you could download the app and it logs you into the game network but only for chat purposes.

Obviously playing on the phone/tablet would take a lot of work doing but just being in the chat room or having PM windows open could be a good idea. Maybe if you even put a price of £0.69 or £0.99 it will bring in (not much I know) some money for the site also.

I think there would be a lot of people who would be willing to get the apps (one for snooker also) and would be good for those times you are out and can't get on the game but need to get in touch with someone who doesn't check offline messages. Or to just have a laugh in Gen chat on your dinner break or something.

I was going to make a thread for Funkypool App! good job, yes it would be awesome if you could play on it, i play Ronnie O'Sullivans Snooker on my ipod touch. It is very addicting, when i can't be online to play. But it's not pool!

Yeah but obviously that has all the lines on it etc and it would just give app users an advantage and the game play would be different etc...

I think just the chat functions would be good.

It wouldn't but then why would someone pay money to play this game on a 3/4 inch screen when people have trouble seeing the balls on a netbook screen which I believe is around 10.5 inches?

Don't forget the adverts would still have to be on the game site and clearly visible too so they would take up a chunk of the page if you had the normal game running on an app, otherwise you would just get random adds popping up at midway intervals through games/tournaments etc and it could divert you away from the game this logging you out and causing mayhem with people crying about points.

Just my opinion, maybe it can be made into an app another way which doesn't have the problems I have just got off the top of my head.

Most apps on ipods already have ads, normally just when you start the app up, it doesnt have to be on the screen whilst playing :)

Or if you pay for the app that means it become advert free

well it would be physically impossible to play on your phone for good players, unless your physically mental, you wouldnt want to play on your phone, so a chat would seem to be a better idea,!

also money generated from the app could help support funky easier and more efficient meaning that nick could improve the site and or find a better server,

its a great corse to make money, although i am jailbroken so ha XD

its good suggesting have gameplay on ipod but how would it work? if gameplay was to come in you would need a separate system for the ipod (especially if aiming aid is there).

chat is good, maybe forum too or can you view that already?

Well you can view the forum on the safari browser, all I was asking is that you can be logged in to the chat room and talk to anyone else who is online.

Let's say for example you are waiting for a train, you need a clan game playing your friend is not answering offline messages you pop onto your app and open a pm and he goes oh dear me my apologies old pal sure I can sub in and win the game for you.

Or in the same situation you are waiting for a train or something and are bored, you go on have a nice lively chat in the chat room and before you know it your train is there.

I also think this would help liven the chat room up too as sometimes there is not many in there talking or even online to be honest. Would be a fantastic addition and obviously nick could implement what he wanted into the app be it the game as well or just chat features or something else, I for one would certainly buy it.

one idea i want to raise is in pms when you close that chat is erased what if theres a button on the pm box where it lets you view past conversations?

see the thing with this site is people like you, basically we are throwing out ideas there to generate more money for the site so it can grow, and become better,

EXAMPLE if this was on itunes store, it would become amazing, 5 million apps are purchased everyday on itunes,
