i think i have nailed it down to my ISP (with help from you guys, especially flapjack), after being successful with a proxy connection. If i must, then it looks like i will have to go through the hastle of ringing them up...not what i want to do. My parents pay for the broardband so dont know if they'll want to ring up or want me to ring up for the sake of a computer game

I highly doubt that is the case as of they banned an ip I'm sure you could still get onto the forums just not the game rooms but then I don't know as I've never been banned lol.

Although it is possible for admin to ban a range of ip adresses, meaning if you ip was in range you. wouldnt be able to access the site. I used the contact us feature:

If your IP was blocked then you wouldn't have been able to sign on the account and post that post on the thread =/

When an IP is blocked/banned (same thing) you can only access the forum pages, you can not post or anything like that unless you make an account. Of course there are ways to get around these banned/blocked IP's and if your doing that now then your now screwed

when you ip is banned i dont think you can even access the site, if people are repeat offenders

being banned on pool doesnt mean your ip banned

yup but sometimes you can be IP banned without being banned as seen on snooker, once i_am_god was IP banned for around a month but not banned so he couldn't log in etc.

not sure if you can see forum when IP banned but from what ive been told you can
