Defoe was an absolute certainty for me with his experience and ability to score goals, Richards was unlucky to miss out, I would have Adam johnson instead of downing who has had a terrible season for Liverpool.

To be fair to carrol he has played well towards the end of the season big chance for him here..

adam johnson is 1 the most overrated players in the prem imo...downing to be fair has had burden on playing under a poor manager who has played him on the right most the season when hes an out and out left winger...so may do a job for england although i wouldnt take him

If Adam johnson got more games no doubt he would be quality. I agree Richards and Glen johnson are two good full backs I would have maybe took both.

If he wasnt injured i dont think johnson would have gone as phil jones can also play RB but i would have taken both of them as they are both natural RBs

Johnson and milner dont deserve to go to world cup as they ahve sat on bench for city and not rreally done much

johnson is better than walker phil jones another overrated player....and of course johnson would still go even if walker started. Smalling is better than jones but injured if a player plays for the scum and is english is automatically seen as a good player.

The player they have who should of went is carrick better than both barry an parker + a better passer of the ball
