Lets keep off the biased subject guys, really don't know why that word has even been mentioned, Jay does a great job and understands theres a rule problem there and he sorted the current situation, I'm sure he'll sort the rule for next season and make it alot clearer.

If the player left their existing clan to return to their old clan without having first been officially asked and signed then no they are not a free agent, they left on their own accord. Their only option would be to return to the clan in which they premeturely left

There is something i would like to bring up and it is related to the FCL and FBL leagues so i will post this in both discussion threads.

Myself and Mattywellie were talking the other day about both the leagues being run along side each other and we know people wanted it to be the way it is the now with FCL releasing games on a Sunday and then Sunday after that the FBL releases there's. The schedules were worked out to do it that way and what got us to do it the most was the possibility of less defaults and sadly we have had more this season in both leagues than we did last season, this is due to some players of course though as well. The way it is the now also means that who ever does the fixtures and other things have got a bulk of work to do every week for what ever league is being released that week.

As some know league running and being head runner is a massive job and takes up a lot of time and time to do it right so we where thinking that next season myself and pixie will work out a schedule for both leagues that has then running side by side with the same deadlines, this also means that runners are doing the bulk of the work on the same day instead of getting it every single week. Thoughts please?

A schedule could be made the now and posted soon to show a rough idea of when both leagues would start. With one or two clans that don't play in the FCL but do in the FBL it would mean FBL would be a fortnight longer or so anyway.

I was thinking about that very point yesterday actually (that runners don't get a break on any weekend).
This was of course made worse by the fact the same people are taking care of both leagues now. If you have different runners, that problem doesn't exist.

However, I still think it's reaaaaally beneficial not to have everything on the same deadline. With the amount of subs already going on in the final day, I can't imagine how it would be for 4-6 different fixtures with the same deadline...

My only suggestion would be to divide responsibility of the two leagues amongst the current runners so that you're not being asked to do it every week.
I can't see it working with both leagues on the same deadline. Would be chaotic I think.

Would like to point out now that i am only doing the FBL fixtures right now due to mattywellie having laptop trouble and what not, that would change when he is back up and running and got total access to the laptop.

Still a lot of work gets done though even when not doing both league fixtures.

I never said it would decrease mate, i meant it would be alot easier doing it all in one instead of every single week as games are due out each week.

Well no one knows when mattywellie's laptop is going to be fine again, and the only other runners that can do that work for FBL is myself and Jema so that is us doing more work as we have FCL to. James can do it also but he has stated with snooker league and world tour it would be to much and he does FBL golden cue. I'm not sure Mich can do it as he has said he has internet problems the now and plus he has heavy hours at work.

ah right ok, so it will be pretty much you for the foreseeable future then.

Ultimately, if it's taking up too much time, then you should do what you have to do to make it manageable (unless you know another reliable person that could help you run this).


I didn't know about mattywellie's laptop, but it seems to be working or clan games.....
