I don't like the idea of resetting or a new account because all's it does is distorts the ranking's. It doesn't show a true picture of that player because it doesn't include all their played games. Like you could get a distorted view about how good a boxer is if he 'reset' a bad fighting record and then got a good record afterwards.

Gotta take the times you play good with the times you play bad, and that will give you a true picture of how good you are. For anyone I know that has reset or is on a second account, I tend to ignore the stats that can be improved by resetting (like win percentages) and just look at runouts, gbs, 7 ballings, tournys and max rank

Dont think I could ever reset mine.

There was a time when I thought about it though, had already played about 9000 games before it started to keep a record of how many 7 ballings/run outs/max rank etc.Having one 7 balling to your name with 9000 games played looks awful

As for win ratio, I remember having 1000 wins to 500 losses (66%) (exactly, couldn't have done it if I'd planned it) and got that up to nearer 75% eventually, you can just play through the rough start if you want a higher ratio. Just takes addiction, time and probably lots of coffee

Another reason for resetting is that people do actually try & quit the site and think that's the best way to do it knowing you don't have any stats to rely on. I know I have a few times on snooker.

Another one is being drunk & doing it, quite a few have done that
