I agree with everything said here everytime I spoke to Ian it was a true pleasure one of the most genuine guys you could ever wish to talk to gone too soon? What a massive understatement I think personally I would like to see his name kept on as part of his legacy just kept there but obviously never used but I feel he was so fantastic as a person that the name shouldn't be delete so someone else in a year may be able to have it, he is a guy that deserves ultimate respect as he showed others through the way he acted in this site for years top bloke a good friend on this site spoke to him everytime we was both on at the same time and he will be sorely missed hopefully always in our heads an hearts and commiserations to his closest friends and family you had a great one in Ian.

Im absolutely gutted to hear this sad news, I didnt personally know Ian away from the funky world of games but I have to admit this is the saddest news I have heard on these sites in all my years on both pool and snooker, he was an online friend to me and a truly great person that I have ever met, genuine and will be greatly missed by a lot. I hope his family are ok in this sad time. RIP mate never forgotten.

I am devasted to be honest, when I was with vipers I asked if he would help us out and he said yes straight away as a favour. I have only just seen this thread and I just I don't know what to say.
He was a stand up guy always had time for a game and chat, I knew him with his time with mouseketeer and vipers.
Just shocked and really upset.

I didn't know him so I'm not personally touched by this... but terrible to hear of an innocent man with years ahead of him die like this. Absolute tragedy.

I didn't speak all that much to mk_lad lately but when i did it was mostly good stuff even when he was winning

(I Have to add ive just read the report on BBC about this trajic thing, The two guys appeared in court and was ONLY charged with grevious bodily harm with intent ? ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Why arent this sick twisted people getting murder charges and getting life sentences

i am in total shock ian was a great great guy one off the few on ere and i had the privlege of bining his m8 and he played for vipers for 2 season.
