lol id rather watc the game with my own eyes rather than go off player ratings from sky...spearing getting a higher rating than shelveys says it all carroll was better than a 5
this is how i seen the game we dominated for first 20 minutes carroll silly going down when easy opportunity...clear penalty turned down ref msut of though simpson was in goal...
they get a goal against the run of play good ball to cisse bad defending there on top fpr next 10 mins...game becomes pretty even
second half they get a goal what looked offside to me unsure if a touch was made by lpool player at 2-0 no coming back
does it not show 2 of their highest rated players was defenders...shows they was on top much the games doesnt it dan

Ryan IMO i dint think Liverpool were any good, ye there should have been a penner for your, but after that there wasnt much from Liverpool
Kennys team dint exactly convince me or any Liverpool fans hope of winning when he plays spearing and shelvey and leaving out maxi, henderson and downing
Liverpool needed width and cross at all times as he started with Carroll and they didnt even have ab fab(cant spell his name so wont try) kennys tactics IMO were a bit weird for an away day where a team like Liverpool should be winning

we may not of played well but to say newcastle outplayed us i totally disagree as i say first 20 minutes cost us dearly....those thing maybe shouldnt affect matches but they obviously do

I think after today we should really keep the football out of the thread, it aint gonna help
first half we were the better team and didn't deserve to be losing, second half was poor.
and you can't really argue that the ref didn't have any influence...
Ben Arfa dives after no contact looking for a penalty - ref says dive (no card)
Carroll then does the same, booked.
That was one example of a big lack of consistancy. Like that cheat Perch, made much more contact when Pepe had the ball in his hands than Pepe did on him, he tilted his head down and made minimal contact at the very most.
2nd goal shouldn't have stood because he was offside, first goal was good.
