Simon held his own very well in both billiards games and was in with a shout coming into the UK games - played very negative and i cleared at every opportunity (bar the last).
He showed some good skill in the billiards games and i can't help but think he would've done better (in UK) had he attacked the balls more.

i can't help but think he would've done better (in UK) had he attacked the balls more.
thats the way most of the experienced players tend to win in UK, if you pot you have to clear or you lose 90% of the time, just have to adjust depending on the opponent and you have to know when to play safe or be aggressive

Matty was experiencing computer lag issues but, in fairness, i played an absolute blinder in 8us - clearing from possible positions.
A system reset helped remove the computer problems and the games were more even (2-2 in 9us), but an horrific lag cost Matty the 5th.
It's a terrible shame that these games could've of been cleaner. Matty is a class player always great fun to play against.

_dntbmad_ vanished midway through 12th frame in 8uk so don't know if that will be replayed. I was on for an easy win in it though.
Gutted with the dropped 2, one was to a fluke snooker in 8us, one to a fluke pot in 8uk.

8uk 0-1 so far (maybe 1-1).
