I was wondering if there was any possibility of players who finish 1st 2nd and 3rd in the monthly tournapoint race all get a medal

1st place gets gold
2nd place gets silver
3rd place gets bronze?

And also i would love to see a race to see who can gain the most tournapoints in a year and instead of medals been given how about a reward of a 12 month premium account?

The person who wins that first year reward obviously shows his dedication to funkypool to have won it in the first place, to obviously go by all rules and to play alot so it'd be nice for funkypool to reward players for there dedication to the site.

just a quick question,

you say that 1st get gold 2nd get silver and 3rd get bronze. what are you thinking about doing to the ones we already have for week and day events? or can you think of any way to disinguish between them?

I think that week an day event medals should stay the same as i think anyone will agree its pretty easy to get a daily medal a weekly medal is slightly harder because players need to be online alot more an as for monthly medal again thats even harder because a player needs to be online alot more to win it.

And seeing as monthly medals are the limit funkypool will go an also the hardest to achieve i think it'd be fair for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd, unless they do ever go towards the year option then they can scrap the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

And ive also had many people PM me in the server asking why would nick give out free premium memberships an my answer to that is if someone can win a 12 month premium membership winning a cue competition then surely there could always be that reward for the TournaPoint yearly winner because that also is a competition.

How about instead of Medal make it a Trophy ? That way we can distinguish between the two!

Also I think a Free Year Membership is a great Idea! I know Nick is trying to raise funds to support the site but it would give the members something to shoot for!

plus not everyone can sit on here 24/7 to try and win the year medal, the cue competition was different as everyone had an equal chance where as the year medal to win free premium is not equal as you need to be on at least 12 hours each day to have any sort of chance.

if your going to reward premium for year medal then how about the people whos been here since 2007 ish as don't they show dedication to site as well?

in my opinion keep it as it is, if you want a year medal or a 3 month one then ask nick for a platinum medal.
