Hey all,
A couple suggestions that would be very simple to implement
1> Get some diamonds on the tables ! Its a simple thing and would be helpful to new players.
2> Don't penalize for leaving a standard game to accept a tourn invite. Tourn invites should be easy to identify - they are event driven to distinguish from bailing out for other reasons.
Thanks

If you leave a game you should get a loss, and in a ranked match you should lose points.
Otherwise everyone will just be leaving games all the time when they're about to lose.
If you enter a tournament you should make sure that you're available to play it, simple.

What would the diamonds do, to help new players?

The diamonds are used by good players to judge angles.

Good suggestion but I think it could be abused? How about a compromise?

They might not like rubies or sapphires?

So since this is a suggestion thread, how about getting a list of last 10 games played (or 5) or more, of each game type..i want to know many killer games i have lost in a row, but i would have to go to result's and look for them, and i haven't played in a while..

A filtering system for the results page would be quite useful.
- Filter by:
Game Type
Tournament
Player
Would make it easier for when you want to check past results.

Make it possible to place balls on the practice table. This would mean you could practice specific types of shots.

"the diamonds are on a pool table to aid you in making multiple rail shots using geometry".
I vote for the diamonds!

Perhaps, but could you please explain?

I don't agree, as it's a fairly long-running and accepted thing that if you enter a tournament, you could get an invite at any time, and therefore you shouldn't be involved in any other games during that time. And if you were allowed to leave ranked games mid-game to take part in a tournament game, it would be open to abuse, as players who have enough time to finish their game could accept the invite (and leave the ranked game) if they were going to lose, and could remain in the game if they were winning. There's no situation whereby a player should be allowed to gain rank by winning but not lose rank by losing.

Pephaps for each game type on your profile it could show your winning streak on that game type and maybe have a leaderboard for highest winning streak on each type?
Also for overall leaderboards i am sure this has been discussed before but i forgot, why is there not a highest rankings for the overall scores so we can see who has had the official highest overall ranking?
On straight pool there should be an outline of a triangle where the balls rack up (Well on the vids i watched there was and i am sure it's been mentioned in the rules) so you now where to leave your break shot ball.

I agree we should have diamonds, not that i would use them for angles...... but we used to have little lines on the US table (just looked like wood grain) which i used to use as a marker to place the white for a US8 golden break, i also used them to line up shots in mini golf aswell. Since the table was updated i cant golden break and i also struggle with the first hole in mini golf.
