Carried my top form into 8us and didn't give him much of a chance there, but just snatched at 9 ball and he managed to edge out the frames to bring the contest back. Carried on the good 8 ball form though, clearing from his first mistake and then continuing. Wasn't to be for him so we called it quits there but a pleasure as always.

He started off very well with some lovely clears in 8us, first frame in particular was very nice. I had a chance to make it 2-2 but left my last ball sitting over the pocket, he cleared nicely. 9us he was a little unlucky. One of his breaks left a clear on for me and he ended up snookered off his other which would've been a sure runout.

Went down to the wire in uk, i was 7-5 up going into the last frame so he needed a runout. He potted from the break but the split was very harsh on him with nothing really to play for. Was lucky enough to come out on top here, very good player, ggs unlucky mate.

won by the runout, tough way to go but I can't argue. 8us I started on fire, and he was a bit unfortunate in not getting a draw but I was good for a win there. 9us, won the first and thought I might be on to something but it never quite went for me and he returned the favour of 8us (apparently a frame of his he got some luck on, but I didn't see it) and tbh I was glad he didn't get a runout because I would've been in trouble, with my breaks not quite working for me (though my frame won was off a random shot after my break set up the clearance but no initial pot). 8uk, he put the pressure on me with a runout in the first frame and I cracked. Two poor splits left me needing a 3-1 victory but, it wasn't going to happen. He was threatening a runout throughout and I didn't look like it and that was the difference really. Tight throughout and not arguments with any of the score

Scott was class as always on the us tables, I'd say luck was the only thing that separated us there. First frame of uk I got another runout to all but end it, he didn't really seem to focus after that (wasn't much point).

Generally good quality frames, especially in the us frames. Our breaks throughout the match let us down a bit which show why we couldn't manage any events.

Went down to the wire in uk, i was 6-5 up with him to break, might have managed a runout but the split he got was awful, and he got unlucky in knocking in one of my balls which won me the match. Great player though, and enjoyed the match nonetheless. ggs mate

Just finished my PC match with zantetsukenz, and what a hell of a match it was!

8us, zante was pulling out some good positional play and long pots and took the first easily. Then I gave him a chance to clear in the second, but he potted the white also with the black. 3rd and 4th were good standard and one mistake led to the balls being cleared.

2-2

9us, I got luck beyond belief, 3 times he was in the balls, and a rash shot ended it, 2 times I capitalised. 1 time i took the balls well to give myself a lead into the 8uk.

3-1

8uk, and here is where it got interesting, zante attacked and it paid off for him in the first and second, making good clearance when i failed on position. the third frame he made a mistake and i cleared from it. poised at 1-2 i knew i had to win the next to avoid an in form zante in a decider. He broke and he full bloodied went for it, just coming up short on a tricky positional short, went for it and gave me a carry. I potted all down to my final 2 balls, tried to roll up slowly to nudge one of my yellows away from the black to leave me a simple clear, but the black went in.
3-1 zante

decider was all zante, until he gave me a carry going for an awkward clearance, i potted everything then accidentally flicked the black meaning i had to pot it to bottom left instead of top middle, with the white quite close i missed and left zante for the finish.

7-6 Zante. What a game though best of luck in this buddy
