Apparently not. At the end of the fixture, you just have to request a default win (which you may have already done by posting here) and you will go through to the next round.

How come for the () .. from position finished last season.. i have a '5' when i got to the semi finals.. making it the last 4.. shouldnt it be a 3 or 4 ?

I think you and _redherring_ should actually have been the other way round. I was working from memory because I only looked at the Round 5 (last 16) page for last season to identify a starting point for the top 16.

However apart from guaranteeing a Round 1 bye - the 16 seeds dont get any other advantages!!
