A few forum changes. The previous broken quote box has been restyled and now includes a link back to the original post. You can now link to an individual forum post and there's also been some minor style fixes. Notification for reply in forum has been fixed.



Private message windows now open minimized as requested so not to disturb your game play.

Nice change above but i just went onto my profile page and things i had underlined or in bold now don't work? It shows the code you need to do them things instead.

That's a good point.

Now the Quote, Bold, Italic, Underline and Spoiler must be in a strict order to work. You cannot have non matching brackets (this previously caused HTML errors).

Example:
(b)(i)correct(/i)(/b)
(b)(i)incorrect(/b)(/i)

Oh right i see what you mean But the ones for images are also doing the same thing.

If there's a problem it just aborts and shows the original.

I did an automatic scan through all the posts to see how many were faulty and it amounted to just over 2,000 posts (of 1.3 million). I did manually fix certain ones (about 100 posts with incorrect images, quotes or smileys) but I have left the other incorrect posts to just fall back and show the forum code.

On snooker, carom now has a practice table game with scoreboard. How about the same for straight? It can't be that different to code from carom? (Apart from the 1st shot in straight can't count.

On the point of straight practice, would be nice to have an icon on the practice table for straight instead of having to click through the US8 practice tables.

Not really, as a frame is over once a certain amount of balls are off the table. While carom doesn't have pockets and can go on forever in theory, and straight is 14.1 continuous, so re-racks throughout the game. Again, this can go on forever in theory.

3 colours, then the 4th nested and onwards is grey. Can be changed if required.

Possibly them 4 colours, then the 5th reverts to the 1st, the 6th reverts to the 2nd etc?
