There was only a very short discussion about whether or not this competition was or was not going to be ranked... so short in fact that it couldn't be called a discussion. Guess we'll have to wait for 7baller to come back on, but it makes most sense (all things considered) to play all games 'friendly'; that way nobody needs to leave and we can just get on with the games.

Ranked games have already been played, i know... but either cap it now or the whole thing decends into chaos - players leaving, some choosing to play friendly, some playing ranked. What happens if you (playing ranked) get drawn to play tinie or dvz (playing friendly), for example? It's a mess that's about to get much worse. I just think we can put a lid on the error now.

I never realised it was ranked untill i seen it at the bottom of 7baller's post but by that time we were half way trhough the match so just carried on. I have no ranking so i would be more than happy to play ranked, i just assumed all games would be friendly as most events are.

ranked or friendly... dont see how it matters when the better player should win anyway?????

Fair play Mikey. I was just thinking that antione08, angel and dvz are 3 that'll pull out (if the games have to be ranked), plus there may be others. Weight that up versus the two matches already played and I think it makes sense to play all games 'friendly'; that way nobody needs to leave and we can just get on with the games.

Lets wait and see what 7baller makes of it all. I'm easy either way.

but tinie and punkpoet didn't play ranked, in any other event playing the wrong time limit or friendly/ranked is grounds for a replay

Theres been alot of speculation here , i have talked to my mate that helped me set this up and he said that , The rules had been made that any person that was in when fixtures was given out are then IN !! so im sorry to say i cant make swap and changes for the first round antione08 and angel will play or they will be out.

As far as the ranked/friendly situation goes , if you can agree with you teammate that you want to play friendly then this can happen.
But as that only one or two wanted ranked and no one else come forward to tell me they didnt want this then
From round 2 ,all games will be played in friendly format

I cant depend on one person to want a ranked match when 31 other players want friendly

The rules have been made now , there should be no problems ive posted up the formats now so that there is no problem with that.

this is a Ranked 32 knockout Tournament , its more exciteing and people will want to win more .. tbh if your good then you have no worries about loseing points ect ..

theres no choice about playing ranked or friendly , 7baller clearly wrote on this thread that this is a ranking knockout ..

rise to the challange i say and win it .. i played my games ranked as thats the rules .
