Unfortunately my friend the curtains were drawn on your living life.

You slipped away quietly and peacefully into the night, without ever opening your eyes to say a final goodbye.

Sadly you moved on to a different world, the open gates of heaven await you, you wont be alone my friend your recently departed father and Dougie are there to greet you with open arms.

Whilst in this world you gave so much too so many people, this will not go unnoticed when you arrive for your next journey.

My friend I can only say thank you for allowing me into your life, you taught me well, not only in the trade I belong, but also you gave me life skills that stayed with me throughout my working life, you said id need these skills and I am so pleased I listened to you. As a friend we had so many laughs and so much fun, these days my friend will never fade or ever be forgotten.

You were the father I never had, you guided me and kept me on lifes right pathways, you gave me so much that I will never be able to say thank you for, you were a brother that stood by me whether I was right or wrong and never judged me, you were my true friend, I never got the chance to say goodbye and thankyou for just being you.

You will be missed by many my friend
