can someone explain to me HOW it is boring ? if you play a clan 3 times, likelyness is you wont get the same opponent all 3 times. If you got 3 different opponents from the same clan how is this boring ? - Please explain.

How do you know your going to get 3 diff opponents tho Jem?

For all you know you could get fry06/staffie/punkpoet in all 3 of the fixtures against Vipers, i myself would get bored of playing the same opponent(IF i got the same opponent) in the 3 fixtures against the same clan.

Im with lethal on this, 3 League fixtures, 2/3 Individual fixtures, 2 FBL fixtures, 2 Super League fixtures

That is 9/10 fixtures every 2 week is there any need for that amount of fixtures?

Will be hard for people that work and can only get on here for a few hours a day don't you think?

This is what the schedule for this season is going to be, it has been sorted out so that all clans play each other twice and yes there is no bye's involved.

Fixture Set One (4/3/12 - 18/3/12)

Fixture Set Two
Cup Round One (18/3/12 - 1/4/12)

Ficture Set Three
Cup Quarter Final (1/4/12 - 15/4/12)

Fixture Set Four
Cup Semi Finals (15/4/12 - 29/4/12)

During this point the league games will be over and the only left to be done is the Clan Cup Final.

Clan Cup Final (29/4/12 - 13/5/12)


So going with the above we are due to finish the season completely on the 13th of May.I thought this was the best way to do it in the end as the season is still a little longer all be it because of the Cup Final, but we finish a week behind the FBL to so there may be a good chance that the FCL & FBL can work along side eachother next season if we can sort it out

You aren't going to be playing every game so won't be playing the same teams 3 times as a player let alone the same players.

But it doesn't matter now because Jay has gone against the majority of people, the vote and all the best reasoning. Why go through the chirade of the vote then totally ignore it?

6-4 is hardly conclusive, If it was 8-2 or something - you could probably say it reflects the opinion of the majority of the players. At 6-4, can't. League runner's would need an idea of what the players in the league want before making a decision - that's why there are league runners and not a panel of captains making the decisions via a vote.

As you say, it's been decided nothing more to say on the topic.

It's a decision with 2 choices, you aren't changing any rules or affecting the league in a big way so the majority should win it obviously....makes a lot more sense going with the 60% majority than the 40% minority.
Jay chose how he wanted the vote to be run, how many votes would be counted and was happy to go with the vote then went back on the decision and suddenly ignored it.

because 10 votes don't represent the views of potentially 160 players, so if the captains vote isn't conclusive - league runners need to use their own initiative

I did post it the other night there, the only thing that has changed is that the cup final will be held after the last fixture set so the league does extend by two weeks due to that, so finishing date of the league is the 13th of May while the FBL is the 20th.

Finishing date for a 10th of the league is a week away from FBL..for the other 90% it's 3 weeks earlier
