another idea, a bit extreme but why not make new clans play a friendly close to end of the season? if they get it played (or majority) within 2 weeks then they are considered for the pre season friendlies.

that way you don't get clans folding in the middle of the friendlies and totally messing the schedule up

not all clans are formed before the end of clan season...so won't work

Removal has been completed and Crazy Eights v Vipers fixture has been released to both clans. There will be an extension granted on this game if it is needed.

James nice idea but all new clans this season did that and all of them got there games completed before the pre season Except poolballers for some reason i think.

So has it been decided that this move is fine? Again, I can't help but think this is wrong.

Captain released so the move went ahead, 7baller has used his one move to a clan this season though so he cant not move to another. If he does he will miss the league games

So lions den to vipers was the move and not eligible to play for eights going by the rules as they stand? And as the rules will not be changed until the end of this season, he cannot play this season?

Permission wasn't late. It wasn't given. The rules were tried to be bentbecause of the non posting on the thread. It may be happy delays now but the way this went on sticks in my throat!

Lions Den folded there for his move to Vipers never went against him. Permission was granted by staffie_man a few hours ago that making the move within the rules.

i had nothing to do with the signing, it was the other captain of crazy eights. permission should have been granted first, yes, but i am not sure 7baller fully understood that he was an official player of Vipers and thought he could just move, i think it was a misunderstanding. Fact is permission has now been granted as it would have because Kenny is not a horrible captain.

Not wanting to make a mountain out of a molehill so I'm happy to leave it at that. I rarely make negative comments but just wanted to point out that this was wrong while pointing out this loophole.

There wasn't any thing done wrong as far as the rules go mate but i do understand where you were coming from. The move should not have been made public until permission was given by staffie_man but all be it it has been given now and it is sorted.

There really is no loophole with the way it is going just now, i am keeping tabs and lists on who has moved where and when. If you think anything is going on though between a clan and a player moving then please feel free to message me or another runner.

I will be asking for your full team list after the pre season games are over and done with, only clans who have passed the pre season will be asked for theres. A few days after that your team list for the first set of league fixtures will be asked for (the few days in between that gives us enough time to sort out the divisions and sort out who plays who on a fortnightly basis + work a cup schedule into that to)

It was blatant that because the clan changes forum was down, it was assumed that he could pinch players because of it. If this isn't seen as wrong then I live in a far too honest little world!

On the topic of the loophole, why post 'because it hadn't been posted on team changes'! It is only now that I pointed it out that we are talking about permission being granted!

My objective has been achieved, this was 100% underhand and the folk that contrived this now know that I will not stand for it!

i agree tokko people should read the rules beforehand on the website, kenny has given permission so the move should be ineffect. maybe post a link to the rules on each clan page for people to look at?

also Jay you considered opening the team changes thread? i think it should be opened soon as the transfer window is over.

again i will reiterate i had no part of 7ballers signing, i would have ensured he sought permission before signing him personally.

however, not sure why permission was not sought by dex or 7baller, going from what i read on the crazy eights thread, i can only determine that it was because 7baller thought he was not officially in vipers (sure i even read this on vipers thread during the whole cree thing), but i apologise if i am getting the wrong end of it here

On another note, the permission has been given now so not sure why we are still on this subject. Kenny gave the permission soon after i had been online, i never seen the post on Viper thread before that as i was not long on.

7baller was allways in vipers but hey he a 8s now he wanted to join a better captain so he got permission end of.
