good games completed in 15 mins, i went 2-1 down and barb should have got the 3rd i managed to keep my cool after mouse costing me at 1-1 and took the remaining frames.

personally i think its disgustin how players aint been asked to join this, just assumed they will want in, how about players who havent been online to read the fact they have to post to say if they dont want in on it

Deadline is Midnight (UK) 10/3/12. Failure to notify a result by the deadline may lead to an automatic DQ for both players.
All games will consist of 9 racks in total (3 each of US8, UK8 and US9). In addition to one point per rack there will be bonus points for any events achieved (Golden Breaks/Run Outs). Should the scores be level following the 9 racks there will be a sudden death deciding rack. The game type for this 10th and deciding rack will be chosen by the player who won the preceding (9th) rack.
This a voluntary tournament so there is no requirement to play or attempt to play if you wish not to. Please do not badger or harrass opponents if they do not reply or do not wish to play, simply retain evidence of contact and effort.

players will be goin into round 2 who dont deserve it, just based on the fact a player has been offline for a few weeks and havent known they were entered
surely it would have been better to only involve players who are active enough, then there will be a fair 1st round in the 1st place
nevermind, but i did read that if players did want to join, they have to post, because i was gonna post sayin im not interested in it, but after readin it 2 or 3 days ago, i didnt bother as i didnt think id be entered...also players have been put in under "divine forces" who aint in divine forces

You dont have to post to say you dont want in on it - just dont play. Doesnt get any easier than that.
The reasons for doing it this way rather than invite entries were explained in detail when it was being discussed and then agreed that it would be trialled in the League Discussion thread.
The player list was taken from the FCL site. And players go through rounds in tournaments day in day out because opponents are a no show.
