An idea that cropped up as we were talking tourneys. Think full random tournaments(best of 3 in rounds) and marathon tournament would be a great addition and end up one of the most popular on here.
Could put the random 1 framers on the half hour then with the speed games and arcade using the 12 slots or whatever it is in 24 hours for friendy tourneys as they aren't needed anymore.
Don't know if there would be something in the programming that would have to be changed to start a tournament match and change game types in the same room between frames but if it could be done I reckon they would be great fun.

would it work like this...

Each frame selects a game mode so a best of 3 could be 9 Ball Arcade, 8 Ball UK and Straight (all examples)

or would it be like this...

One game type is selected before you join game room (like it is now) and you play best of 3 in that game mode.

Each frame would be random out of the 3 types 8 ball, 9 ball and UK ideal because we all have our weaker game types even the best players do.

I think if each frame was a different game type it would take too long especially marathons...

Imagine you finish one frame within a marathon time limit, then you potentially have to wait 5 minutes or so for you both to switch to the second game type and start over again.
If after a few games you end up first round 2-2... well i for one wouldn't have enough free time to play this tournament.

Not a bad idea on the whole, I can see what you mean and i like it, i just dont think it is practical

People don't play the same formats at the moment in randoms hightops so I don't see why you would have to wait at all. 1 frame finishes and you carry on your game straight away with another randomly drawn frame.

They only play one frame against the same opponent and i think there is a reason for that.

Did say in the original point that if it could be done it would be good.
