Hey guys, don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I was just playing in the Straight Pool tournament vs. vegas, wasn't going either of our ways, ended up in the last minute of the game, I potted the winning ball, the game said I could carry on until missing, and I then proceeded to lose the match due to being "too slow".
I know all tournament games have a time limit, but I lost a game that I'd won? Hmmm.

Because you continued your run the game was still classed as active.
I always stop at 35 in tournaments to avoid that happening.

You've got to keep an eye out for the time alerts is all, if you're getting to the last few minutes as soon as you win tap the white to finish it.
Can see why it misled you though it does say in the win message you can carry on.

Yep, just keep an eye out for the time warnings and then when you get to 35, just hammer the white into the pocket. If you do it on 35 (or higher), you won't lose a point, because the game is technically already over and you're just getting a chance to increase your score.

It's still a fault in the logic though.
You shouldn't have to deliberately miss a shot to win a game. The game is won at 35 points regardless of whether you played on and are still on a run at the time the round expires.
But if the current way is the only way the game programming can handle this situation then the standard wording of the time warning should be changed to tell someone they need to end the run (ie miss) before the clock expires.
