Have seen him on a few occasions sign in for a micro win it then sign off and carries on doing that until midnight sometimes. Think he only does it when he knows he stands a decent chance of catching the person who is leading the day event.

4th on tourney wins on here with over 400 on an account less than 2 years old...think ben does more than just win micros.

Not as much as he used to and he only wins because not enough good players enter anymore. If it was back in the day he wouldn't be up there. Fact.

lol me and kirk have both won more than 400 tournis, its not that big a deal. but hey whatever floats yer boats.i dont play pool much now , im to busy deactivating haha

The way the discussion in the thread has gone has reminded me of the guys who were at the top when we first started, faded... came back and said 'werent like the old days' just what we're moaning about now

The 11pm 8UK Marathon, usually had around 60-80. Pretty sure I seen it with over 100 one time. Just the micros and how frequent tournaments are means the little numbers and not so worthy wins anymore

Yep it was the one people wanted most, and would get congratulated by quite a few people if they won it. Now it's blended in with rest of tournaments with 15 people in it

Did try and get nick to factor in the amount of frames into tourneypoints so marathons would be worth double and get the numbers again...he agreed to it twice but it never happened.

It would help get more players but just because you get pointless tournipoints that not many people really care about won't fill it up like it was. At first i liked the idea of tournipoints but after around a year of it i don't really care for or like it. Tournies ain't even a challenge so i don't play as many.

If tournies aren't a challenge, then why did you fail to win your last 3?

Had medals on my last account, nothing special about wasting my life away getting them, it takes a day to get them, very rare i can be on with that lol. They don't mean anything. As for your ranking iv had it before. I have been high and number one but i don't really care about that. I know im not the best but neither are you lol.
And i never said i win 100% of tournies i enter but they are a lot easier than what they used to be so your counter argument there is rather invalid as you have taken it out of context lol.
Also i wouldnt really look into my stats that much, im just messing about these days. I think all this has gone to your head my friend. Your a good player but your nowhere near the top end of players i have knew.

parts in bold i agree with (bold applies to myself also).
i think we can all agree that there are way too many tournaments, hopefully nick sees it soon so be can consider a schedule what not only brings the fun into tournaments but also keeps the tournapoints addiction alive.
