view as a web page? I just clicked view but it came up as code.

When i click to "open", i only get options to Open with Internet Explorer (IE), Notepad, Windows Media Player, or WordPad MFC Application.
Have tried opening it with IE, but it just opens as *.txt file in IE.
Can anybody tell me what i should do?
individual league tables had to go on as a file due to the complexity of the table formulas, otherwise id spend hours updating stuff manually.
it should be safe to "open" (dont "save") and view as a web page

It's definitely too late to be changing the rules for this league. But crazzymadman has a point...
There is always going to be a problem persuading people to finish all their games (when there's no chance they can win). Nothing can be done to fix this - there is no league system which sufficiently incentivises all players to play all their games.
All we can do is try to play all our own games --- if we all play our own games, then all games are played!
Add all your opponents, chase they early, try to organise a time to meet and play.
i think its a bit late to be changing the points system of the individuals... but would perhaps adding something LIKE a knockout stage for top 8 players of each league be better?

You will have to wait for everything to be done, this was another reason the cup final is the last fixture to be played so we have time to do things but family comes first just now but hopefully be done in the next few days.

This upcoming season will see the individuals incorporate two stages, a league stage (the winner will receive a plate style award) and a knockout stage for the top 8 players in each league (the winner will receive a cup style award). Full details of the league will be posted in due course.
Players have until the end of the FCL transfer window (25 May 2012) to sign up to their preferred individuals league. A schedule of number of games to be played within a specified timescale will be posted.
Sign up sheet below...

10.2 League format
Each individual league has two stages.
Stage one; all players face each other once (ALL players, including those from your own clan). There are no set match ups in this league but a required number of games will be completed per fortnight. All games must be played by the deadline set by the Individuals League Runner to allow time for stage two to be completed. The player with the most points at the end of this stage will receive the Individuals Plate.
Stage Two; the top 8 players from each league will continue on to play in a knockout style tournament for the Individuals Cup.
10.5 Scoring
Stage One; Win = 5 points, Draw = 3 points and a Loss = 1 point
An additional 2 points will be awarded to all players who complete their set number of games per fortnight. A penalty 2 points will be deducted from any player who does not complete their set number of games per fortnight.
Stage Two; no scoring system as this will be a straight knockout.
