Well i lost 3 - 1 to Owen and his Sunderland team which i was expecting a beating anyway, when watching the actual game thing say all it says i could have got more than one but then again so could have Owen, CESAR did outstanding despite letting in three goals as he saved a shed load in the game.

Difference with the pool one is there is 2 days break prior to the SMFA game ( giving a chance for recovery) and from my exp from last season fitness is not affected in SMFA so its really a 3 day break from sat-wed mate.

The snooks SMFA game being next day after a league game aint so healthy lol

Conditions don't matter in SMFA games and they won't go down, the only thing that matters are suspensions and already injured players.

Soz i was reading Gold Championship rules where fitness is taken into account lol.

Matchday within Standard Game Worlds and Custom Worlds
If you are a Gold Manager then selecting the formation and tactics for your team is the same process as any other matchday.
If you are not a Gold Manager then your Assistant Manager will decide the tactics and team.
Your Assistant Manager will not change the tactical screen. This means that you can set your team for the following match and it will not change.
Regarding fitness and SMFA Cup matches all players are 100% fit for the game, and no fitness is reduced.
Players will not be able to pick up an injury whilst playing for their club. Also a player could pick up an SMFA suspension, but this will only apply for SMFA competitions and will not effect domestic competitions.

If you go to the tactics screen you can see the rules for the next game on that. Where it says Next Fixture and shows you the team you play next it's in line with the words 'Next Fixture' above the match preview bit. It says rules and you click on that and it drops down.
