I will take the current ranking.
To be fair, bcoz we'll be playing games using ranked instead of friendly.
It'll be unfair for current high ranked player to win against a low ranked player, not much points is gained.

So when this starts do we just add our opponents and play them whenever? or is it a certain game a week?

yes, we add our opponents as friends and played against them if we see them online.
i believe most of us are working or studying, i don't see the need to enforce the exact time & date to play the game. Everyone maybe busy.

Ex. almost end of the month, we can message our opponent to fix a date both agreed to play the fixture.

everyone has 30 days to complete the 10 games in the league.
i believe we have amber time to complete 10 games within a month.

i may implement that everyone has to complete at least 80% of the games, which means played at least 8 games in the league.

games not played will be counted as 2 - 0 walkover.

anyone not played at least 8 games in the league will be removed the following season.

i may formed a league committee to discuss further issues in the future.

btw, i had assigned 2 staff to help me manage this league.
i will released the news in next few days when i finalized everything.
